File Serving
Guidelines within #Robotech-Serv
|
|
| 1. | If you need a file server and how to use it, please go to: http://edwardk.info/Tutorials/fserve/ |
| 2. | #Robotech is Chat room only, not a server room. #Robotech-Serv is the main serving room for Robotech. |
| 3. | Robotech and Japanese Macross files are not to be mixed in the same folder. They are unrelated universes and therefore, we should not confused people even more. |
| 4. | All File Servers must be serving something of Robotech to be able to serve in #Robotech-Serv you may serve other Anime files as well, at least if you have some Robotech stuff. |
| 5. | All File Servers should be set for 15 to 20 minutes for Advertisements. All Fservs should be using "!list" as an advertisement displaying. |
| Robotech Files Guidelines | |
| 1. | No Robotech RPG, Comics, or Novel copies are allowed on servers. Other related files are allowed, including all Japanese Macross and related files. |
| 2. | Robotech II: The Sentinels and Robotech: The Movie: The Untold Story is not necessary to have served. These are non-authentic parts of Robotech and could be left alone. Up to you if you want to serve these or not. Sentinels is not episodes, but a movie. Files should not be calling it episodes. |
| 3. | All Robotech episodes should include Episode Number and correct Episode Name. There should be NO episode numbers that include a "season/saga" number such as 115 = Saga 1 Episode 15. |
| 4. | Sagas can either be
put into separate folders, no folders at all, labeled which saga they are,
or not. Use of the correct Saga names are: The Macross Saga, Southern Cross, New Generation. - The Macross Saga has episode 1 to 36 - Southern Cross has episode 37 to 60 - The New Generation has episode 61 to 85 A

Japanese Macross File Guidelines |
|
| 1. | All Super Dimensional Fortress: Macross original TV series episodes should be labeled either SDF Macross or Super Dimensional Fortress: Macross. These episodes would be in either Japanese or Japanese with English subtitled. There are 36 episodes total. Robotech is not a translation of these or the other sagas. |

Please label all Japanese Macross files as dubbed (spoken in English), subtitled (Japanese with English subtitles), or raw Japanese (spoken in Japanese). Do NOT do this for Robotech related files. |
| 3. | Please label what
edition of Macross Plus you are serving. There is both an OVA (Original
Video Animation) edition as well as the Movie Edition. These are not
exactly the same. The Movie edition deletes animation from the OVA and
adds new footage. The OVA is more in-depth story while the Movie is much
more action pack. - Macross Plus OVA has 4 Volume. - Macross Plus The Movie is 115-120 minutes long. |

Please label the length of total time that your "Macross: Love, Do You Remember?" is in minutes. Such as 114 minutes, 120 minutes, etc. There are many edited jobs of this movie like many other Anime in the past, bastardized (not including Robotech). |
| 5. | Macross II was released as an OVA and Movie, HOWEVER, they are exactly the same but the movie version cuts out most of the intros and outtros inbetween volumes. Macross II is 6 volumes long. It is also an alternate unofficial universe that is not counted with the rest of the japanese Macross timeline. |
